FOUNDATION ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN THE US:
Presentation of the Colors to Csaba Hende, Hungary’s Defense Minister

At the request of United States Senator Marco Rubio a US Flag was flown over the Capitol and presented, with its accompanying certificate, to the Honorable Csaba Hende, Hungary’s Minister of Defense, to commemorate his visit to the Great State of Florida.
Representing the US Department of Homeland Security and conducting the Flag presentation ceremony were US Merchant Marine Captain Andrew Evva and US Coast Guard Auxiliary Staff Officer, Dr. Phillip Smith.
- Arranged a visit by the Hungarian Parliamentary Delegation consisting of Professor Dr. János Horváth, Senior member; Mónika Bartos, Junior member; and their staff member Katalin Ádám Somfai to our Freedom Fighter Statue and the Collier County Board of Commissioners. They are touring major US cities introducing the New Hungarian Constitution. The Foundation donated time and expenses for the transportation of the Delegation between the Florida locations of Bradenton, Naples, Ave Maria, and Venice. Additionally the Foundation donated $200.00 for a DVD production of a message by Dr. János Horváth to be presented to the members of the Naples Hungarian/American Club on 3/24/2012.

Responsible for the design, fundraising, placement and dedication ceremonies of the $50,000.00 bronze statue at Collier County Government Center. The concept of the sculpture was to celebrate freedom in general, commemorate the Hungarian revolt against communism in 1956, and conform to the following Criteria:
- Depict - Internationally Recognized Historic Event
- Non-confrontational
- Demonstrate US Assimilation
- Aesthetical Acceptable
- Self-Liquidating
